Scheduling Probes

 

Irrigation scheduling probes measure the soil moisture content in the active root zone and the soil temperature. All of the data is easily accessible and allows for the better management of soil moisture, scheduling of irrigation techniques and thereby maximise sugarcane crop growth.

MAPS have established probes in 14 paddocks throughout the region. All of the data produced by these probes can be viewed by clicking on the link below.

The data for individual probes can be viewed by clicking on the drop down menu under individual sites. Clicking on a graph will allow you to manipulate it to show any particular depth, temperature or date you are interested in.
